Recognized organizations
An IEC recognized organization (RO) may help with orientation, finding work, travel, accommodation, insurance, language preparation and difficulties during a stay. Services and charges vary. Eligible applicants from partner countries can generally apply independently; using an RO is optional.
ROs are distinct from immigration representatives. Being a childcare agency does not itself establish RO status. AuPairAgency.ca is not presented as an IRCC recognized organization.
If you are outside the standard country list
Some RO arrangements cover additional citizenships. IRCC lists US citizens under SWAP Working Holidays, for example. Ask the organization about eligibility, category, availability and the work you intend to do before paying. This is a separate route, not automatic access to a standard country pool.
Looking for work
Job Bank is the employment resource linked from the IEC brochure. Compare a listing’s duties and location with your work rights. For childcare, also discuss the children’s needs, references, hours and accommodation directly with the family.
